Backyard Sports Games For Summer Picnics
Growing up, and today, two of my favorite backyard sports games horseshoes and Bocce. The great thing about the horseshoe that if you have equipment (2 stakes and 4 horseshoe) All that you need a little space (grass and dirt does not matter). In addition, there are facilities for children (lighter, rubber horseshoes) and adults (the competition all the metal horseshoes). This allows children to challenge adults. The most remarkable thing is that this is a game that children can grow together and continue to enjoy. Today, oh so many years later, I still occasionally throw a shoe at the company picnic, and even sometimes throw Ringer.
My other favorite game of backyard Bocce. This is due to the fact that my grandmother and grandfather were Bocce Court in part of their yard (next to their garden). Unlike horseshoes, Bocce requires a little strategy. You just try to roll the ball closer to the Pallino (the smaller ball), or knock your opponents ball from the path. Like horseshoes, this is another game that you can grow together. How do you get a little older, children begin to plan their shots more carefully, which always makes for a more spirited competition, as they begin to think of adults.
In addition to these personal favorites, the other court sports, which can provide hours of fun and entertainment (in order of competitiveness), Frisbee, croquet, badminton and volleyball.
Who does not like to throw the frisbee. He is a typical courtyard (and beach) game. This can be a purely recreational, or competitive (if you’re with a group of Ultimate Frisbee or Frisbee golf players). Most often, just to catch a Frisbee is a fun way to spend time and may impress your friends / family with many different ways you can throw and catch it.
Croquet another classic game that is quite a bit of fun. It takes a little planning, since you have the space (and not interfere with any other events, picnics) and install the gate correctly. It’s a fun way for you to find out who your friends really, especially when your ball lands next to the other players. They just knock the ball a few feet so that they can make the next gate, or they send the ball flying across the yard in the bushes. This is another game that is highly entertaining small children who can barely hold a hammer, looking at them almost drag the ball around the yard and through the gate.
